I have a COVID dog and because of that, I've only recently been inside my former vet's office WITH my dog. I will spare the tawdry details, but I left feeling unsettled. I felt that my dog and I were misunderstood. Later, I was perusing the Next Door app, and someone was asking for vet recommendations. This place was highly recommended, so when my dog started scooting and licking, I made an appointment. What a world of difference!!!! The majority of the visit was Dr. Marteny listening and answering questions. He made an effort to observe my dog and to realize that he is very protective of me. (Not as an aspersion, though! He vowed that he and my dog would become friends). He fixed my pup up quickly and promised to be in touch with some information and testing results. True to his word, I heard back from him and he provided a copy of the results with some further advice. THIS is true collaboration and I could not be happier. Prince and I thank you so much!!!!

Took my sick cat here yesterday and I love this place!!! From the front desk to tech to doctor, all were wonderful. Really great at explaining every little thing happening and very caring to my pet and me! Also, very reasonably priced services (i was pleasantly surprised). My little guy is doing good and I'm so happy. I'm thinking of pretending I'm a cat next time i get sick so i can get treated here....lol

To anyone nervous about bringing their pet to the vet - please read! My pup was sprinting after a tennis ball (she doesn't even play tennis) when she suddenly plopped herself down and didn't want to move. I ran over to her as she picked herself up, but noticed she was limping back to the car. At the time I had thought she just pulled a hammy, but she was still limping around 2 days later. I decided to call Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital and was given an appointment to bring her in immediately. I was greeted by the most wonderful team to ever come together. Maria and Karen helped put my mind at ease when I was upset about Bella's state. She was quickly examined by Dr. Marteney and we discovered she had torn her ACL. Dr. Marteney is a stud when it comes to explaining treatment. He puts his best foot forward every time and makes sure you leave there with all of your questions answered - and then some! Amy, Christina, and Priscilla were all-stars with answering my questions and explaining what we were dealing with. I could not be more appreciative of all the love and care we received from our visits. We had an unfortunate event where Bella's surgical site got infected, but help was only one call away! Bella was able to meet Dr. Desai and was prescribed some antibiotics to get rid of the infection. Dr. Desai is so kind and caring! After a few visits, I felt like I was going to see friends and family because of the way they treated my pup. From our in-office visits to the care calls, I have nothing but love and respect for this team and I know Bella feels the same. She absolutely loved seeing you guys every visit despite having surgery done. I can't thank you guys enough :)

OH! I forgot to mention that she also had a benign tumor around her eye area that was also removed during her surgery. The area healed super quick and you can't even tell she had surgery anymore!

I have been using Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital for years, but I recently moved about 20 minutes away and was considering finding a new vet closer to my new house.

When my cat Liam had an emergency medical issue last week, I took him to a pet emergency room for treatment, and I was told to make a follow up appointment with my primary vet ASAP. I tried to find a vet close to my house since my cat hates the car, but most of the new vets I called didn’t even bother to call me back. They ones I did manage to speak to were cold and uncaring. It didn’t seem to bother them that my cat needed a follow up appointment within the week.

When I reached out to Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital to see if they could help, they recommended an end of week appointment but called me EVERY DAY before my scheduled appointment to see how he was doing. They even told me that they’d squeeze me in prior to the appointment if anything urgent came up or if it seemed like he needed attention sooner, and that they’d make it work no matter what.

I already knew Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital was good, but I didn’t realize how exceptional they are until I tried to find a new vet. After how excellent they were at helping me get my cat fully recovered after his recent issue, it’s clear to me that traveling a little farther to continue working with them is absolutely worth it. I cannot thank them enough for the care they’ve shown for my cat, and the relief they have provided me knowing that my cat’s care is in the right hands.

Thanks to their care, my beautiful boy is feeling much better!

My lil dog saw Dr. Desai, and we had a splendid experience with her. She was very thorough with the examination, kind, highly informative, and willing to answer any questions we had. We didn’t feel rushed whatsoever, and her bedside manner with my dog was excellent. We’ve struggled to find a vet since recently moving to NJ, but we’ll be staying with this place after our experience today. The facility was very clean, and all of the staff we met were incredibly friendly as well.
