This school was amazing for the 8 years that I went there. The teachers were great and students however were overall great but there are some to watch out for. Building is nice and pretty new, but uniform rules are pretty strict. There are certain assistant principals r watch out for and substitute teacher choices could not have been worse. Many great teachers and staff also great programs. Definitely feels homey and is a great school to put your child in.

This is probably one of the Best School in the Bronx, if not in the whole city ! the whole stuff is beyond dedicated! They truly and deeply have the best interest of the Child in mind, even when the Child is more than a handful to handle. They don’t give up, they don’t get impatient, they persevere and the succeed ! The Principal is a wonderful Soul full of positivity and I think that helps enormously to set the school overall energy for Stuff and Students ! All of the Assistants principals are wonderful and very helpful. The teachers are awesome ! even the security personnel are beyond fantastic & helpful. I had to move out of the city and the most tears I shared were for this school, because my child will not be part of this Amazing school.

I have attended this school for 8 years and have been here since its opening day. This school is amazing. Other students taking badly about the school are simply immature and believe they know everything. I believe all teachers have the best interest in their students. This school is great, there are also many clubs for middle school students to engage in such as basketball, band, etc.. Previous complaints mentioned bullying and bad children, which i'm positive our school does not encourage. Our guidance councilor does all she can to help us students improve with everything from drama to High School applications. Our school is also great because it helps prepare and introduce its students to college, what it is about, and why it is important to attend college. If you are looking to send your child to this school, this is the perfect environment for your child to attend and he/she will absolutely love it here.

I have been in this school for a total of a 6 years. it is one of the most positive, well-controlled school in the bronx. all of the credit goes to Mrs. Gillagan! Best and sweetest principal ever! this school is so great it even has a waiting list to get in! I recommend to bring your child to this school.-Jalina Gonzalez, class 601
