Although I am not a parishioner, the day my husband was dying, St. Mary's Hospital tried to call their priest, Fr. Joe in a couple times. My friend, who belongs to St. Philips parish called the priest there. He arrived from Valley Rd Clifton to St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic in a matter of minutes. My husband received the Last Rites and died. I am so grateful to this favor that St. Philips was able to do.

Just wanted to say what a lovely service you had for my Uncle Herman (Voelkner) The priest did a good job as well as the lector at the graveside. He didn't prolong it and kept it simple and yet personal. The young lady that sang the hymns was phenomenal! I grew up in that parish and went to grade school there. It really looked good and brought back many memories. Herman was very special to me as is their entire family. We all grew up together in Clifton and he was, in addition to his 4 kids, a father to us 5! Anyway, just wanted to say thanks - it was beautifully done!!!
