Polo Supermarket

I'm in a wheelchair, they've made it very accessible for me and courteous and helpful. The meat plan prices are great!

Good place to shop for quick items if you run low, plus a variety of meats and poultry.

I just needed a lil bottle of vanilla extract for my French toast, but was in for a big surprise....
Not only was this place a bonanza of fresh produce, they also stock a wide assortment of cereal, spices, and every imaginable item that you would expect to find at larger supermarkets. They also have a few butcher-staff in the back, making sandwiches, cutting meats and cheeses. But what most impressed me about this store is that every single employee I encountered was polite, attentive and helpful. From my first steps inside, looking around the store, an employee could tell it was my first time in that store, and immediately came to ask if I needed help and if I was looking for specific things he could locate for me. I was amazed and appreciative, and I plan on going back to this market whenever I'm able to.
NOTE: This place is a short walk (approx. 10 min.) from the Mott Ave (last stop) subway station on the A-Train, or the Q22 bus stop. Definately worth the walk and an easy 5 star rating from this happy and satisfied customer.*****

🍎🍍🍌🍐I went into Polo Supermarket to pick up I few things on my way home. It's a small store with narrow aisles, but they manage to fit a lot of products into it small space. It had a dairy aisle, frozen foods, full service meat and deli counter, and produce -- in addition to a few aisles full to the ceiling with packaged food, cooking ingredients, sodas and other beverages, cleaning products, pet food and a wide variety of spices and seasonings! The store may be small, but it is capable of providing a customer with their complete weekly shopping.
You can also go in just for a snack or drink, beer and soft drinks, or some small items. They have a bodega-style counter on one side of the store, in addition to the regular check out counter on the other side.
The employees are helpful and very pleasant.
Polo is a neighborhood store that has been here for a long time. It is a place I visit every now and then, and I will continue to shop there in the future. 😊💗
