My daughter is absolutely in love with bohemian style clothing and since her 16th birthday was approaching, I reached out to Chrissie at Pied Beauty to help design a vintage boho dress for her as a gift. Man did it turn out perfectly! Totally authentic and so well made! She worked with me on every aspect of the project - super professional, communicative and fun to work with!

I have a wardrobe full of beautiful vintage and designer clothing...all in a size 2. They are the most beautiful and uniquely designed pieces which took me FOREVER to collect. It pained me to think about letting them all go. But alas, it had been years, and realty struck and I am no longer a size 2 . I've had a couple of kiddies and it was time for me to be real with myself: i wasn't going down to a size 2 again. A friend told me about their pleasant experience with Chrissie and I decided to let her try her hand with a few of my precious teensy pieces. I told her a little bit about me: my lifestyle, my style-style. What she came back with is beyond what I expected. You can tell from the creativity in her thought process, she is not an ordinary tailor, rather a designer with an impeccable aesthetic. Suffice to say, i'm very happy to have found this gem of a tailor and will continue to frequent her.

I don't know where I'd be without Chrissie and her exceptional personal attention and ingenuity. During my transition I wanted to reinvent a beloved, but very long, women's coat, Chrissie came up with so many suggestions, and then transformed the coat Iinto a stylish men's coat. She enabled me to bring one of my very favorite articles of clothing with me through my changes and I am so grateful. Her knowledge, tactical skills, enthusiasm and responsiveness are really special, especially in an industry where one often feels ignored unless they pay an outrageous price point. Thank you, Chrissie, for your exceptional and affirming work taking my favorite piece of clothing and making it mine again.
