Foolishly drove my boat into Spindle Rock off of Glen Island. I was alone with my daughter and the boat was taking on water. Miraculously Sgt. D'Onofrio, New Rochelle PD Marine Unit was pulling out of Glen Island Harbour and saw us in distress. His instincts were awesome. He immediately rescue towed us into Glen Island marina before boat was flooded. This was a very close call for us. Sgt.D'Onofrio is a hero.
