UPDATE: Jan 2022: Showed up at his office for an appointment only to be told my insurance was no longer accepted. It was an extremely cold day and the receptionist could've called me in advance about this minor detail to save me the trip. The only reason I favor Elgar Family Dental is that it's open on Saturdays and a very quick walk from home. So, I switched to a plan he accepts to continue using his services.

UPDATE 3/28/21: Had routine exam with cleaning and experience was better than 2 months ago. As if nothing happened (?). Even though I patiently waited 2 hours for 1PM appointment, Dr. Moinamini was a real sweetheart. Funny that. Also, I made sure to catch up on copays before leaving his office. I expect going back in 6 months.

UPDATE 2/20/21: Talked to Dr. Moinamini over the phone about the "misunderstanding" with copay situation and giving him one more chance on March 6th. He seemed very pleasant when speaking to him. Hmm...

1/23/21: Well shoot he lost a patient. It's been almost a year since my last visit and I thought he was pretty decent. So for this year's exam, I showed up on a wintry, windy Saturday and receptionist barks at me about trying to call cause there was an earlier opening. Uh, whoever wrote down my phone number had it wrong. Strike one. Then Dr. Moinamini comes out from doing his procedure with another patient and barks at me about owing $15 from a March 2020 appointment. Uh, he had almost a whole year to call, e-mail, send a letter, ANYTHING to tell me about the copay, and I would've gladly taken care of it. Strike 2. Then he said this visit would be another $15 copay making my payment $30. At this point, the kettle was boiling and I lost my nerve. Seriously? Whining about $30? It's not that I didn't have it cause I surely would've taken care of the $15 from last time. But I didn't need his stank attitude about something so trivial. Life is too short, and I'm going to a more competent dentist with a highly reliable staff. If you're a patient of Dr. Moinamini, play at your own risk. God forbid you missed a copay, no tells you, and then when they do, it's sheer rudeness and unprofessionalism.

Super kind dentist he made my teeth so clean it was super noticeble the diffrence. Now my mom had her appointment last week and now siblings too. They are so kind to us, work as fast and take my insurance. He's pretty quick at getting the job done. I have to go back only because I think my wisdom teeth are coming in so hopefully he can help me with that.

Very Clean and Modern Office. Dr. Moinamini is simply great. I came in to see him because I was having pain. He addressed my concerns and also discussed with me the importance of keeping up with my cleaning appointments. Thank you Dr. M I will be seeing you soon!
