Robert has been to our house once before. Lucky for us he came to our most recent repair. He was communicative about his availability/arrival time, offered options for the repair with varying costs, listened to our needs/concerns and explained terms that we weren’t clear about without being condescending. Overall probably the best experience we’ve had with an electrician in the Keansburg NJ area. We’ll definitely ask for Robert the next time we call Lighting Mechanical & Electric.

Lighting Mechanical & Electric was able to quickly respond and replace my entire electrical panel that had been damaged severely by a storm. Robert was the electrician who did all the work and he was very professional, answered all my questions, and did great work in a very timely manner. Lighting Mechanical & Electric in Keansburg NJ had good recommendations, so I called them - I was very glad I did! I have added them to my permanent list of service providers. They were excellent! I had an old dining room light with a dimmer - the light was not working. Robert with Lighting Mechanical & Electric and the service personnel were super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. I plan to use this company for all my future electrical work!!!

Upgraded a panel to higher amperage and ran 50A cables all across the house to the garage for generator hookup and EV charging. Rates were comparable. On-time installation and completion. Was very impressed. Everything was relatively clean. Fishing of cables was also done nicely (just two cutouts in the basement ceiling) which I patched up shortly (it was noted that patching and painting was the homeowner's responsibility). Permits were completed and the inspection failed due to a minor technicality, but the team came the same day and resolved quickly. They were prompt, responsive, and dealt with the paperwork. Definitely recommend them for any electrical job.!!!

Lighting Mechanical & Electric in Keansburg NJ did a great job installing our EV charger and a light fixture. They even fixed an outlet that wasn't working. The front office was quick and efficient. The installers were all professional and friendly. I highly recommend them. They got the job done!
