Heather did a beautiful job both with sewing my skirt and hand making tulle sleeves. I’m a professional ballerina, and my tulle tutu needed stitching. Heather did this efficiently and perfectly, allowing my tutu to stay intact throughout all of my intense rehearsals and performances. I also asked Heather to make tulle sleeves that I would wear for the show. Although it was her first time making them, she designed them beautifully and they fit so comfortably, allowing me to move my arms with freedom and finesse while dancing. Her help is greatly appreciated and I can’t recommend her enough. She is exceptionally kind, patient, talented and will go the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable and beautiful. I found Heather's business via a google search for custom tailoring in the Nassau county area. I had a rather unique request to make a jacket out of vintage t-shirts. Heather was responsive and open to my ideas. She scheduled a meeting with me to discuss the plan via phone and then we met in person. She is very nice, communicative and produces AMAZING work. The jacket came out so beautifully it was better than I could have ever imagined. She also hemmed a tweed skirt for me which came out wonderfully as well. Bonus- the items were finished earlier than scheduled! If you are looking for any custom tailoring I HIGHLY recommend you go to Heather she is incredibly talented. I will definitely be using her services again in the future.

Heather was so kind and patient from the beginning the end of the process of designing and making a dress.
She helped me to pick out fabric and worked with me to make my design ideas a reality. Her vast knowledge of pattern making made the whole process seamless. After a few initial fittings she only needed to make some small changes in order for the dress to fit me perfectly!! Her attention to every detail is impeccable.

It's been such a pleasure working with Heather. She designed and made 2 custom dresses for me, going above and beyond at every step, despite the fact that almost everything had to be done long-distance. Once she got a feel for what I was looking for, she shopped for material, sent me swatches, answered my many questions, worked with us to adjust the mock-up, and made the actual dresses, which turned out beautifully. She was an amazingly patient consultant, and threw in so many extras like footing the bill for very expensive Priority Mail shipping because she didn't want the products to get wrinkled, and even sending a beautiful bow she made with some of the leftover material as well as matching color thread in case we needed to adjust the overskirt. I would highly recommend Heather's expertise, kindness, and conscientiousness.
