Within 2 weeks all was installed picture perfect, Never had any similar experiance with any company like this! thier team were so helpful and did great job!!

Granite Kitchen and Bath is a great place to do business with. Honest, fair and do their very best to please the customer both on the phone and in person. I was in a situation where I needed my kitchen counter top ASAP. We had been working with Ana who understood my situation and she did everything she could to make it happen. I give Granite Kitchen and Bath 5 stars and a special thank you to Ana.

I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for countertops. I had a great experience from the beginning thanks to Ana. She gave us a tour of the great selection of materials they offer. I was able to pick out something i truly love, at great price. The prices cannot compare to competitors in the area. Ana has been very responsive, she knows her stuff, and she is very professional. I loved the customer service.

I live Upstate NY, not NJ, the location of Granite Kitchen & Bath, LLC and our project was an outdoor kitchen. Since the pandemic affected the availability of materials, I purchased my granite early from a local Upstate company with whom I previously did business. They used to do referrals to a local woman-owned granite & stone business however, it recently closed. Our information was provided to Granite Kitchen & Bath who I was told travel Upstate only on Tuesdays & Thursdays. In hindsight, I should’ve voiced my concern about not using a local company—but then I thought about how long I would have to wait (months, next year?), so I went along.
The CS Rep, Jonathan B. from GKB was great! After providing measurements of our counter & bar top, I was promptly e-mailed a written estimate & told 75% was due on the day of template. I even got a FREE sink out of the deal because I was getting over 36 sq ft done. Although our project was delayed several times (3 mos!), Jonathan diligently followed up every 2-3 wks. By the time we were ready, Jonathan was replaced by Ana S. who promptly scheduled the template and in a week, the installation team was at the house (Great, right!). While at the house, I confirmed at least 3Xs with the lead installer, Ray who assured me there would only be 2 granite pieces meaning I would only have one (1) seam behind the grill. The team was scheduled to return 1 week later at 1pm so I took a ½ day off from work (I’m over the moon happy!). They never arrived until after 5pm—no call to say they were running late; I had to reach out to Ana to confirm they were still en route. When they arrived my granite counter was in 3 pieces; not two as expected so I refused the service. What a waste of a day and trip!
I e-mailed Ana to voice my displeasure and when I eventually spoke to her, I was told that I wasn’t just around the corner….WHAT! Really? She listened and said she couldn’t do anything but would have her manager speak to me. Sure enough, he reached out to me and reiterated that I wasn’t around the corner and that it was difficult to travel such distance with narrow pieces of granite without breaking and, it needed to be in 3 pieces due to the granite being narrow behind the hotplate and bar top. And, if I was going to insist it be in two pieces, then I would be responsible if it broke. I promptly, but politely informed the manager that this was not my issue—They accepted a job in another state and they should solve for traveling long distances with big and small pieces otherwise don’t do the job! I also told him that I paid and agreed to have 2 pieces, not 3 and no one informed me in an advance of this change otherwise I would have opted to go to another company. I told him, I would get back to him.
A day later, Ana called and asked if I would accept the job and I again voiced my displeasure and she offered to speak to her manager again. This time she called and said she was sending me pics of a similar granite slab to approve and that they plan to cut as much of the stone and wait until they get to my house to cut the smaller sections behind the grill and the hot plate to avoid breaking the stone (yeah me!). So why 5 stars?
Granite Kitchen and Bath (and especially a shout-out to Ana) did right by me. At no point during my conversations with the manager and Ana did I feel disrespected. The manager did not shy away from speaking to me even when he knew the news wasn’t great. Although firm in their initial decision, they remained consummate professionals. At the end, they found a solution that worked and I am a happy and satisfied customer. A job doesn’t have to be perfect from start to finish to get 5 stars –the true testament is how well issues are handled and resolved when they arise. The installation team, led by Ray installed my counter and bar top and did an excellent job (see pics). Thanks Granite Kitchen and Bath!
