One of my favorite parks I like to spend time at the sunset. You can enjoy the view of verazano bridge. The view of Manhattan is also a spectacle after the sunset. There is also an abandoned fort that is restricted to enter.

TCS New York City marathon start village. Very well organized. Spacious. Coffee bagel, energy drink, gels and water available. No queues at the restrooms. Big screen to watch the race and follow instructions in multiple languages. Lots of super kind volunteers. It’s clean, garbage gets sorted to recycle. Therapy dog station available to ease the nerves. Security is good and there is visible crowd control observance from the tower. Great experience

Beautiful city and river views. Parking available and nice walkway under the bridge.

Very cool and interesting place to visit. Lots of boards with info about the different things you are seeing. I did not enter Battery Weed as it was locked but it was fun to see up close regardless. The views of the water, bridge and skyline are great. There are benches also closer to the bridge if you just want to relax and take in the view. Check out the old defense cannon by that area also.

I love this place. The view of the water and Verazano Bridge is amazing. Looking at the sky at nigh, hearing the cricketst and watching the sun rise is absolutely therapeutic.
The staff is super nice and welcoming.
