Carteret Waterfront Park

If you blink you ll miss this waterfront park. It has so much to offer : a mini golf course , a playground with swings / slides and rocking sea creatures . Also to the east is a view of the Arthur Kill tidal strait and the former landfill converted to a park. Have a boat ? No problem !a Marina is nearby and a replica Lighthouse welcomes you to the park connecting a foot bridge.

It's beautiful water and clean front park basically a hidden gem, it has nice little board walk with benches and binoculors for beautiful scenery, children play ground and mini golf area too. It has boat marina beside it. People do jetski, kayaking and bring boats to ride in waters. It is like little gateway to nature/water from everyday busy routine life.

If you're in the need to gas up you're boat, then this is the place to come. Price is just right for gas and you're in and out quickly. Wide area to maneuver your boat. If you're looking for dock space , they have it too. Ice all brand new and well maintained berths.

This is a nice clean park and fishing area but the only thing is that the bathroom 🚻 closed early and there is no portable potty but otherwise it is a great place.

This was a nice clean waterfront. On this particular day it was not too busy, great place to go for a stroll with the family. They had a decent size lawn area for people to sit and enjoy the air, have a picnic.
They have a mini golf course, some Chess/Checkers tables.
Looks like a nice quiet place to sit back and toss the line 🎣 for those who like to fish(please clean up after yourself if you do fish in the area so it can be enjoyable for others)

I would definitely recommend this place at least before it starts getting busy. A couple of new buildings are being built in the area so this waterfront will soon be crowded.
