Bright Kidz Preschool & Daycare

As new parents my wife and I were nervous to send our daughter to full time daycare. We toured a few and never felt quite comfortable with the facilities or curriculum until we got to Bright Kidz. The moment we brought our daughter to check it out she immediately felt comfortable with the other kids and teachers in the “waddlers” room (she just turned 1). She started just a few months before COVID struck so just as she was in her hitting her stride everything came to a hault.

During the time they were closed her teachers sent videos to keep the kids engaged throughout their time at home. As with most parents we weren’t sure what to do when they reopened but were comfortable with the added precautions they took to ensure everyone’s safety. Our daughter learned how to walk, talk (English and Spanish) and count to 10 in just 6 months there before we had to move out of state.

We couldn’t ask for better caretakers of our daughter than Ms Jeta, Ms Maria, Ms Maureen and the rest of the Bright Kidz family.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while since we have been so happy with Bright Kidz, and what better time to do it than when we are stuck at home and missing the wonderful teachers and staff at Bright Kidz so much! My daughter started at Bright Kidz back in December when she was 7 months old. I toured every daycare in the area before I decided on Bright Kidz, and some I even went back to two- three times to make sure I gave every place a fair shot, but every time my gut kept telling me to go with Bright Kidz. From the tour alone, Bright Kidz was spotless and clean each time I visited, the teachers were always engaged with the kids, and the kids appeared to be having a great time. The cleanliness factor was huge for us. Bright Kidz is sparkling clean all the time, and they’re always washing and wiping everything down. Others that came very highly recommended looked dirty, smelled like diapers, were totally chaotic, and the teachers would gossip and text and not engage with the kids. Fast forward to enrolling my daughter at Bright Kidz after meeting Maureen, the director, who is super professional and helpful to this first-time daycare mom. We started my daughter twice a week to see how it would go, but soon enough we were bringing her full time because we were so happy, and so was she! She always came home clean and so well taken care of, and we love receiving all the pictures through the Tadpoles app throughout the day. Even the babies have a curriculum that they follow and it has been great to see our daughter learning each day. Also comforting to know there are cameras in case anything were to happen- most of the other local daycares didn’t have cameras or only had them at the front door. Needless to say, my husband and I are extremely happy with the care our daughter is receiving at Bright Kidz and so grateful to Maureen, Miss Nancy in the infant room, and all the rest of the staff for taking awesome care of our daughter. She doesn’t even look back when we drop her off, she’s excited to be there. They even sent videos to the kids after they closed for covid-19 so the babies could see their teachers. They truly know each child so well and treat them with love. I had read a bad review or two which made me nervous, but I’m so glad I went with my instinct and enrolled my daughter at Bright Kidz. For two parents with long commutes, knowing our daughter is in such great hands all day is a huge relief. Highly recommend Bright Kidz!

Let's be serious, every daycare gets bombed by a bad review or two from a parent, but I will tell you that this place is tremendous. We had left to go to another daycare (Bright Kidz couldn't reserve a spot for us for the next year as we had pulled our child out for the summer). WIthin 2 weeks at the other daycare center, we brought our 2 children back to Bright Kidz. It wasn't that the other place was bad - it's that bright kids is SO GOOD.

My wife has a masters in Early Childhood education, has a license to run a daycare, and has run gigantic afterschool programs so we know our stuff.

There are large bright rooms, cameras in every room, loving staff, attention to your child's food and water! Water is always available for your child in his or her cup, that is very important. Even very small incidents are communicated. The infant room is so loving. My daughter wakes up in the morning and wants to go here and see her teachers. That is priceless. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

My Oldest who is about to turn 4 has been going to Bright Kidz since 18 months old and my newborn just started 3 weeks ago. I love the new location since they took over Cambridge academy. The bulding feels new and clean with bright colors in the classroom and a very happy, creative environment. Their outdoor space is excellent for the kids! Plenty of room and nice and private. As always, the staff is so loving and caring with my children. They truly bond with their teachers. The owners and director are excellent with responding promptly and making sure the children are safe and happy . They make it fun for them to go to school with weekly themes and special activity days. My oldest has learned so much since starting here and asks to go to school even on the weekends ! Their communication is excellent as far as sending updates through the school’s app all day with pictures and a daily summary of what the kids did. Even when I call to check in on my newborn during the day, the teachers answer right away and are happy to update me on how the baby is doing. This is a very special place and I’m so glad my kids are happy here!

My son has never been to daycare and he is about to turn 2. The first week he started he was crying everyday and now he is so happy and doesn't want to go home when I pick him up. This place is awesome. They actually have a curriculum for children so they're not just watching TV all day or playing with toys. They actually learn and they go outside where its fully fenced in to enjoy the outdoors on the playground . I would highly recommend sending your child here , the teachers treat the children as their own and they send you a progress report everyday of what your child did, what time they took a nap, every time they had a diaper change and what the theme of the day was. They also have a fingerprint system that only allows parents to get in the building. I absolutely love this place and I'm so happy I found them.
