Baisley Pond Park

Great park, very spacious. Has a wonderful relaxing pond. There are a couple of playgrounds, perfect for the little kiddies. A path great for bike riding or walking. They have picnic tables, BBQ area, basketball courts, tennis courts, or handball courts. It's an all-around great place for family fun.

Great park to take in nature and enjoy the views. A lot of room for dogs and for walks. Would recommend it if you need some fresh air. Has slides and swings in the playgrounds. Very clean and great place to watch ducks in the summer.

Wasn't crowded and their was a DJ for the BBQ that was going on not to far from us. Some of the weeds and grass was a little over grown around the pond. But not to bad. Oh, and bring along plenty of insect repellent. You already know!
It was formed in the 18th century, when local farmers dammed three streams to power a grain mill. It was named for David Baisley, a farmer who owned the mill in the early 19th century.

This place is perfect for long walks and relaxation, you can barbecue/picnic , find a quiet area to ground yourself and clear your mind, ride your bike , play cricket(permit needed) , play tennis or hand ball has a playground ( a bit dated)with gate (for little runners) sprinklers , plenty of parking, public restrooms , huge trees with plenty of shade , benches everywhere, huge pond that has turtles, fishes ,goose, a very large male mute swan (he's gorgeous but aggressive) beautiful birds and squirrels .
