I was greatly enthused by his art. He has a prodigious collection of beautiful work. He is an artist with a clear vision and mission. I am so glad that he came to my attention.

I recently attended the exhibition called, “Black and in Power.” It was a wonderful experience for me and my daughter. Very vivid and vibrant pieces that focuses on different family dynamics. We especially loved the art demonstration at the end and viewing the art in the dark. The neon colors jumped out of the painting and created a very ethereal mood. Kevin and his family was very hospitable and made us feel welcomed. I look forward to visiting again.

Hidden Gem ! It is located of beaten path on Sedgwick Avenue, on the side of residential apartment complex, but don't be misled by it, because once I came inside during Jazz event, it was pretty cool gallery. It is a large space with saloon like artwork display. There are many painting to see, created by the local artist Kevin McDowell. There were vases, art prints and t-shirts for sale. Artist gave us a personal tour of the gallery and talked about his art process. Jazz band was very well curated, professional, friendly, lead singer with a nice voice and song choice. I would definitely return to the gallery again during their special events !

Great place! I have been to this awesome studio several times actually. My girlfriends and I attended a wine and sip party there. Kevin was very patient and fun. We painted and sipped our sangria for about 2.5 hours. I also went when he had a live artist playing jazz. What a night!!! My colleague also rented this place for her baby shower. It’s a fun, cozy and alive place to paint or just party. Don’t know of any other place like this one in this part of the Bronx. We need more like this!

Super dope artist! Kevin really helps you find your style of art. I had a few classes with him and every class was a great progress for me. I would definitely recommend him to my friends. Thank you for your awesome teaching! 😊
