Antidote

Excellent Chinese food. They had my favorite dish dry pepper chicken, which is a little hard to find. The pork dumplings in chili oil were fantastic as they were a little sweet and a little spicy in the chili oil. The Dan Dan noodles were excellent as well and had a bit of heat to them. Also had the garlic eggplant which were good but eggplant is just not my thing. The vibe and location is just flat out beautiful.

This place is great, period. Trust me. Now, if you're you're looking for cheap tasty Chinese food, you're looking in the wrong place. Antidote does what it sets out to do perfectly--provide an elevated Chinese food experience that keeps you coming back.
Growing up, "elevated Chinese food" seemed like an oxymoron to me. And given that NYC has no shortage of cheap and delicious Chinese food in Flushing and Chinatown, competition is stiff. But sometimes you want to eat good Chinese food in a nice place with great service. Maybe friends or family are in town, or maybe it's date night. Either way, the atmosphere in Antidote is perfect. Elegant but not pretentious with a modern and plant driven aesthetic. The restaurant is lively and bustling. The drinks are on point, including their namesake drink which comes in a smoky flask and an actual pill capsule!...try the more interesting things on the menu, the spicy prawns and goat. You won't regret it it. I'll be back for more!

I’m so excited to have authentic Chinese addition to the area with consistently mouthwatering dishes, nature-inspired ambience, and top-notch cocktails to go with it. Been here twice, tried about a dozen of things and everything is excellent every time. Try literally anything, you won’t be disappointed but duck rice, crab tofu, and grilled prawns with deep fried peppers might have been some of my favorites.

Great place! Very spacious inside, beautiful decoration, lots of plants and ceiling window make a unique atmosphere.

Service is exeptional, very quick. Food is delicious, we were with two little kids and they liked fried rice a lot. Thank you for this experience! Recommend!

Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum! We had (8) different dishes and they ALL were great. So many layered flavors and delicious slicers- which are well rounded and never get too spicy.

Drinks were fabulous and all (5) of our guests were murmuring with joy and satisfaction.
